Material: 100% AIA-certified Royal Alpaca Fineness: Under 19 microns Approximate weight: 140 g Dimensions: 200 × 30 cm Matte black, with no sheen. It is the color where the quality of the fiber shows most: the finer it is, the more even the surface stays and the less you see the irregularities that give an ordinary cloth away. Below 19 microns, the hand stops registering as cloth and starts registering as skin. That is the difference between Royal Alpaca and baby alpaca, and it is the only reason this scarf costs what it costs. 200 × 30 cm and 140 g: long enough for two generous loops and light enough not to weigh. Black enters any outfit without arguing with anything. And there are no shortcuts in the finishing either: it is done by hand, by our artisans. Made in Peru. With a camel or light gray coat, where the contrast puts it up front; with a dark suit, as a discreet final touch.
