Material: 100% Peruvian Baby Alpaca fur Origin: Cusco, Peruvian Andes The baby alpaca fur hat is the warmest —and noblest— answer to a mountain winter. The natural fur wraps the head in a dense softness no synthetic fabric matches, and its natural tones, never repeated from one piece to the next, give every hat a character of its own. It is made with baby alpaca fur from the Peruvian Andes, soft to the touch and hypoallergenic. The natural fiber retains body heat even at the lowest temperatures, which makes this hat an ally on days of hard cold without giving up elegance. Our furrier makes it by hand in Cusco, from recovering the pelt to the finished hat. Made in Peru. Ethical commitment: we never kill alpacas for their fur. We only use the pelts of young alpacas that died from weather or health causes, almost always because they did not survive the friaje, the cold snaps of the Cusco highlands. How to wear it: over a coat with sober lines, for a warm and refined winter look. Its natural tones work with any palette. Care: keep dry. Clean with a soft cloth. Do not machine wash or submerge.
